Castle MOD APK works on Android TV and Smart TV, so you can watch movies, live TV and live sports on the big screen at home. This guide shows you how to install it on your TV, use it with your remote, and fix the problems people hit most often.
What You Need
An Android TV, Google TV or Smart TV, the Castle APK file, and a way to get the file onto the TV — a USB drive, or an app like Send Files to TV. If your TV has a browser, you can also download the file straight from the Download page.
How to Install Castle on Your TV
1. Download the Castle APK (v2.1.3) on your phone or computer.
2. Copy the file to a USB drive, or send it to the TV with Send Files to TV.
3. On your TV, go to Settings and turn on “Install unknown apps” for your file manager app.
4. Open the APK file on the TV and tap Install.
5. Open Castle from the apps row and start watching.
Using Castle with Your Remote
Browse with the arrow keys, open a title with OK, and use Back to go home. Use the search to find a movie, show or channel by name. If your Wi-Fi is slow, drop the quality to 720p or 480p from the player settings — the picture stays smooth. You can find all three options on the Castle TV page.
Chromecast: Cast from Your Phone
If installing on the TV directly does not work for you, cast instead. Open Castle on your phone, tap the Cast icon, pick your TV, and the movie or match plays on the big screen while your phone works as the remote.
Fixing Common Problems
App won’t install: make sure “Install unknown apps” is allowed for the app that opens the file, and check you have the latest APK from the Download page.
Buffering: lower the quality, or move closer to the router.
No sound or a black screen: restart the TV, then open Castle again. If it still happens, uninstall and reinstall the app.
The remote feels clumsy in some menus: connect a wireless mouse, or use the TV’s pointer mode.
